What a great brunch experience I had today with my friends here. The food, the music, the service was amazing. Special shout-out to the cocktails here, wonderfully decorated, loved it. Great vibes and quality time since 1 pm until almost 6. Can’t wait to be back ✨

It was our first time to visit Maiden Shanghai and we went for their Friday Brunch, it was absolutely amazing!!! You have to go and check it out. Atmosphere was so nice, staff extremely attentive to details, food and drinks so delicious and cocktail menu is really creative. Staff were bringing food and beverages very fast , they have a lot of surprises during the brunch. One hour free flowing champagne is included in the price. Big thanks to manager Adin who made sure we were well looked after. We will definitely be back again.

We came to Maiden Shanghai with guests on recommendation of the crispy duck, and we’re not disappointed at all. The restaurant is lovely and authentic, the staff were helpful and the food was delicious. A guest that was with us, is a huge Chinese food connoisseur, and said it was the best duck he’s ever had. Would definitely come back and this time would like to try the brunch!

If you think about celebrations and having a great time, the Friday Brunch is your best bet and it will not disappoint. I had an amazing experience from the drinks and starters to the dessert. The quality and taste of everything was outstanding! The DJ and drummer were very cool. It is a happy spot and I’d definitely love to go back for more. The service, staff and management were delightful and very professional. 10/10

Classy nice atmosphere. I like it so much. Clean table and interior, very kind stuff s and beautiful everything. The reason why I gave three stars is most important things, food. It was fusion Chinese. Taste ok. But not as much as price. If you like fusion Chinese or just would like to spend time with good atmosphere, it will be perfect. Because, drinks and sweets are awesome.

Amazing experience having dinner at Maiden Shanghai. The staff are all accommodating. Kelvin Gaurav kim and connor was the one taking care of us. They made sure that we had a nice time. Food was very good. Chef kang made the kung pao chicken and mafo tofu so perfect. The 2 michelin star desserts was amazing. Definitely will come back again. Thank you for the staff kelvin, kim, gaurav and conor the korean guy.

Came for the Saturday brunch - delicious food, and you get a lot of food and drinks for how much you pay. I emailed them in advance to explain that Im vegan, and they made me a tonne of extra dishes to cater to me which I HIGHLY appreciated (very different attitude to Zuma, who responded with more of a you get what you get for the Sunday brunch). My other friends who eat meat also really liked the food.

Maiden Shanghai serves the most exquisite Chinese food. All what we ordered was so good and have the right taste. We sat at the terrace, it’s wide open to Dubai eye. The view was awesome and the whole setup made it a super nice evening!

I just cant praise this restaurant enough. The food is delicious and the staff exceptional. They are checking all the time that everything is perfect and seeing to your every need. There is a beautiful terrace with fantastic views and the night we visited a young lady was playing the violin and she was so talented. We also visited on ladies night and there was a DJ that night, the atmosphere was so good.

Great place for a Chinese food lovers, good price for ladies night drinks including the food selection, for reasonable price. Menu selection is good. Nice and cozy atmosphere, very friendly staff .

The first thing I wanna talk about is the FLAVORS. You don’t get any of the cliché dishes in this place and that what makes it so special. A marriage of flavors and textures in every single dish they offer. Their mixology is really good and elaborated. Garry was fantastic in service. Well recommended for people who likes Asian food.

Went to this brunch with 2 friends and what can I say?? the vibe was AMAZING !! Music was great (live dj), food was delicious sharing size and for peckish people, I love love LOVE the cocktails they offer one came in a takeaway noodle box I am a fan of the pan Asian concept they have at this brunch !! Would defs go again !!!

Hands down the best views on the Marina and lovely setting on the plan. Food is very good and staff is mostly professional. I am a little unhappy about not being able to reserve a certain table or a first line table when making a reservation (well in advance) and then always being offered the worst table at first. Unfortunately, this seems to happen quite a lot in Dubai. Other than that, I highly recommend it!

Bad experience. Went there on Wednesday, and jy was ladies night. We didnt go for set menu which is offered for ladies and wanted a normal a la carte. Extremely loud music, like it is a night club and not fine dining, asked them many times and beeen told that it js ladies night and whats why music so loud. Finally reduced volume and after some time made it loud again.A lot of strange dressed women, many guest come in shorts and flip flops.Taste of food is averageNever again

I visited this restaurant with a friend for lunch midweek. It was quite which means that their staff were very attentive. They also have us some fantastic recommendations and a tour of the whole venue. We sat in the main dining area however upstairs they have private dining rooms, some of which they can also hold karaoke parties in, as well as a massive outdoor bar area which water views. The decor is modern but chic and the food quality is also on point when it comes to providing a fine dining service. I’d especially recommend two unforgettable dishes. The Peking Duck and the beef short ribs. I’ll be coming back soon for the ladies night offer.

One of the best party atmospheres. Great music and they really put on show. Can have after drinks upstairs on the roof terrace (Penthouse) for sundowners with stunning views. Food not great at all however. Its called Naughty noodles brunch which is ironic as they dont serve them...you will however have your cocktail served in a takeaway noodle box which requires a bit of concentration when drinking !

The atmosphere is good and staff is polite however the food in my opinion wasnt great and authentic Chinese. The chef in the restaurant is probably not from China, probably they are from some other country where coriander is a must! I got dishes garnished with coriander even if I told the waiter I dont like coriander, the tempura of prawns and seabass had coriander inside etc. Mochi, fries rice, sweet and sour chicken were good. The ocra was amazing.

We booked the maiden Shanghai karaoke room , the food / the ambience and the waiter who was arriving us was super fast and friendly! And would like to thank the lady who takes care of the ladies restroom as well! She was all smiles,welcoming ! Would definitely recommend this place. Thank you five palm !

Excellent food. Up there with the best Chinese Ive ever tasted. Not greasy and tastes amazing. Staff were excellent as well. Very friendly and willing to get into conversation with you. Recommend getting a table with a good view of the downstairs area

After hopping around a few restaurants in Dubai and the Five Palm Hotel, I have to leave a stellar review for Maiden Shanghai in particular for their dinner menu. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was divine. I highly recommend the peking duck, angus beef in black bean sauce, and string beans. The angus beef was extremely tender and melted like butter in my mouth. I haven’t had anything like it.Our waiter was very attentive and kind, and the manager also checked up on us. What more can I want?When I come back to Dubai, this is the spot I’ll be returning to, and highly recommend you try it at least once if you’re in the city.

Excellent food with excellent service. We were there a family of four and all orders met and exceeded our expectations from the spring rolls as starters and then specially the Kung Pao and sweet and sour chicken from the main dish. It’s definitely a comeback 👍

The staff were excellent and helpful, the food came quickly and the place was very nice. The food was good but not great. There was something missing in the taste, it didnt feel as satisfying as authentic Chinese food. For me Royal China in DIFC is by far the best high end Chinese Food in Dubai, damn good and real Chinese food.

Good atmosphere, they have Ladies Nights with packages, not much options for vegetarians if you came with friends.

Went for dinner on 23/6/2021, Ordered few items and Angus Beef. The meat was ok, and cold and vegetables were all soggy, told the waiter and told him was not good and vegetables were all soggy; Manager came and told us NO ONE has complained, and you guys ordered the wrong stuff; told him vegetables were putt off and very soggy, usually they are supposed to be crispy, the food was over cooked and cold. He insisted we ordered wrong stuff and would not agree and blamed us. Told him, its ok pls get our check, and we left. Total hyped restaurant, not worth it at all.

Ambiance is good..but the service is so SLOW!Were having our ladies night (200aed/ 3 course & 3drinks)And each drinks takes time to serve..food was good.And for our booking reservation i even mentioned that its my friend bday. But when we got there we dont get any complimentary 🎂Just sad that the person incharge in the reservation is not that attentive..

Maiden Shanghai is located in the FIVE Hotel on the Palm and is an amazing restaurant to hang out with friends (or on a hot date/date night).We visited for Ladies Night (on Wednesdays) and had an amazing time! We had to make a reservation in advance, but were seated straight away on arrival and the drinks were flowing. The deal on ladies night is a three course menu with 3 drinks for AED 150 (or 6 drinks for AED 250) – so great value for Dubai prices.The atmosphere was great and it was super busy. I had a dinner in this amazing restaurant . The atmosphere is romantic and elegant, the only real Chinese restaurant in Dubai. The food is excellent with a variety of dishes, try the duck its an experience. The staff is very professional and take care of the guests, you feel at home.

Got this amazing delivery by @mandarinoak_uae @mandarin_oak. I ordered Chilli chicken with hot and sour gravy with basil noodles served with chilli oil , it was totally delicious and so fresh. The flavour of spices was not over powering at all. No MSG added which was a healthy step by another #asianrestaurant which I really appreciate....... Dessert :The sesame ball in other words Buchi. Nice gummy texture as it is made of rice flour yet not so sweet but delicious!

Maiden Shanghai is an amazing restaurant. Although on the pricier side you will not be let down by the quality of the food and the exquisite flavours. Highly recommend the black pepper lamb, salt and pepper prawns, mushroom noodles and spring rolls. Also a big thank you to our waiter Rakesh who gave great advice and really made sure we were well looked after. Looking forward to the next visit.

I went to Maiden Shanghai two times during my holiday in Dubai.I staied with my boyfriend in the Five Jumeirah Village for one week with the half-board option, one of the restaurant was Maiden Shanghai.The service, done by Salim, one of waiters, it was exceptional.He recommended us a fantastic starter (attached the photo).The menu proposal is Chinese fusion,I recommend this restaurant and if in the futur I ll come back to Dubai Ill come back to taste their magnificent dishes.

So nice and private. I would recommend going there for a special event like an anniversary. They catered to our requests. They care about how every dish tastes. I was happy with everything to be honest. They keep you entertained. We had a lot of fun with the server, Lesley. All in all great experience.Price may be expensive for some but i have paid the same amount for boiled noodles in Zurich.

This place has the best location. One of the most beautiful hotels i visited. I visited a terrace bar/restaurant. But i will stay in this hotal one day. Love it.

I went there for Chinese new year to celebrate and boy was I disappointed. The restaurant itself is nice, the set up is great but the portion sizes are ridiculously small and prices are way too high for what you get. When you have these kind of prices, you need to provide decent portion sizes and a menu/dishes which match the prices you charge. Honestly they have the same menu as any Chinese restaurant in Karama where you can eat better tasting food and pay less than half the price of Maiden. If you want to eat at an upscale Chinese restaurant, please go to DIFC, kind of similar prices and way better experience and food. Anyways I went to another restaurant afterwards because I was still starving :P

New year menu was not really exciting but pricey for what it was. Service quite poor also..which was somehow a lucky one as the bottle of wine ordered came after the meal and therefore canceled it (and did not pay it). Disappointed to pay 1300 AED for two for a dinner which was done in 75 minutes

This restaurant is the best restaurant I ever seen. The location of this restaurant is also great. They serve the best quality of food. You can come with your Family and enjoy the food. I will definatly suggest Maiden Shanghai to others.

I went with friends for Dim Sum package on Sunday. Dim Sum arrived cold. Food was generally good but portions tiny so had to order More food Al carte. We sat outside ambience ruined by 3 types of music playing. One type of music at the restaurant and very loud dance music from pool and beach we sometimes had to shout to hear each other speak across the table

Nice outdoor ambiance, although the view of the JBR is limited and indoor decor didn’t impress at all. The food is quite authentic, done by a Chinese chef from SIchuan. We loved the pepper salt shrimps, kungbao chicken, the crispy duck was tasty but too much breading (feels like KFC for duck), overpriced for some dishes, $8 for a bowl of rice and $10 for a bottle of Panne water, $80 for half of a Peking duck, ridiculous! I guess being on the Palm has its price to pay.

I went to Naughty Noodles brunch on the 21st August 2020.The good: the waiters were amazing, providing great service. The food is good, but most of it is fried. The cocktails were unique and tasty and the champagne was good quality.The bad: extremely poor social distancing. Our table was less than 50cm away from the next table (not in line with requirements).The manager who checked us in was not wearing a mask (she had one, but kept it under her chin the whole time we were there). There was lots of dancing towards the end with some of the big tables getting rowdy and blocking the path to the toiles so you had to move through a dance floor scene to visit the bathroom. One manager completely disregarded social distancing, hugging and having physical contact with customers - I think he knew them well, but still.Overall the restaurant did not adhere to social distancing rules. We did not feel safe. Would not hurry back. In normal times, I imagine this is a fun brunch, but with a global pandemic and increasing numbers of infections in the UAE they need to do better.

The atmosphere and service was impeccable; however, the food was below average. Considering the price, I expected a lot better. Despite the restaurant having a nice ambiance, I would not return, nor, recommend the restaurant.

We were celebrating our sons bday. Ambiance and Service was amazing , menu could have been more expansive , and also the food wasnt something that will make me come and dine except for the ambiance . They were thoughtful and brought the cakefor my son but we had already ordered the desserts which they offered to cancel. we wanted to try them so didnt cancel. Desserts can be given a miss as we didnt find any of them upto mark. All in all its a beautiful place with wonderful views and atmosphere

Its a squeeze! Seems management only want as many people in as possible. We were a party of 7 booked weeks in advance sat at a table big enough for 4. Eventually we were moved but many other parties had to make do. Food is tasty, as are cocktails, but not worth the 450 price tag for brunch. Menu is fairly limited for drinks and food, starters were the highlight. The after-party was just hostesses hustling everyone upstairs where, again, numbers in the door were priority. Not enough space to move! Music is decent though! Bar staff and waiters very friendly and helpful!

He was extremely attentive, friendly and has had a charming personality. I would love to have a Waiter like Salim at every restaurant I go to! The only reason for 4 starts is due to the food, the menu options for full board guests is a little limited and the main course a little bland. We really enjoyed the starters however: spring roll and boom boom chicken.

The restaurant is in the building of Five Palm, 1st floor. Ambiance is extremely good, especially outside sitting. Chinese food - super good. Service is very good. Reservation is required that can be done either online (available at google.maps) or direct call.We visited during Ramadan, therefore Karaoke was not working and only background music was on - which I liked a lot.

The meal, the service, the ambiance... all very Dubai, and reminiscent of a world pre-covid. A wonderful opportunity to take a break from the mayhem of the pandemic and indulge. Thank you again to our server, Lessly, for a wonderful evening! I highly recommended this restaurant.

Went to a brunch here. Extremely poor quality of food and slow service levels. I found the brunch of AED 395 (No Alcohol) high for such quality.Entertainment was good.Smoking indoors in a restaurant is just wrong and just be banned.Will not be returning.

Celebrated our anniversary last night and happy to have chosen this restaurant. The variety of dishes is phenomenal and the staff are so warm and pleasant. Jira the manager was so kind and went out of her way to prepare a special dessert for our celebration and champagne on arrival. Afrodita was so wonderful in recommending dishes and we absolutely loved the choices we ordered. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

Absolutely the worst Chinese I have ever had it startext when we ordered 5 different bowls of soup and everyone was cold. So sent back but still returned cold. Then we ordered a full pekingese duck which was also served stone cold. Absolutely gutted as we love FIVE but was so disappointed in the food and no manager to look after our table after our complaints. I would never ever return to that restaurant again. Especially how we spent so much money on good wine and awful food.

Everytime I have come to Maiden the atmosphere has been absolutely amazing, 5 star service, the shisha beautiful and smooth and the drink’s made by Kelvin absolute amazing! Highly recommend, best service, amazing view, best food, shisha and drinks! For shisha ask for Dilshod, and for service Thiri, for an amazing experience!
